NorX team members, alongside colleagues from our partner companies Mellott and Marion Machine, joined peers from across the aggregates industry at the South Carolina Aggregates Association’s first Mid-Year Meeting. The event blended industry insight, networking, and coastal charm into four days of connection and collaboration.
Event Highlights
- Sunday: Linen & Lowcountry Welcome. Guests enjoyed live music from The Tailgate Homeboys, signature cocktails, and a menu of Southern classics, plus custom watercolor portraits. A thoughtful welcome to kick off the week!
- Monday: Business & Education. Sessions from Ed Sullivan (PCA) and leadership expert Greg Coker offered valuable perspectives on market trends and people-first leadership. The afternoon brought a friendly beachside cornhole tournament, followed by the President’s Reception.
- Tuesday: Golf & Casino Night. An 18-hole tournament at Palmetto Hall’s Robert Cupp Course gave way to an evening of networking, games, and prize announcements at Casino Night.
“I helped with registration all week and loved meeting so many folks from across our industry,” said Sayler Thomas of NorX. “Checking in attendees and handing out welcome bags and s’mores kits created easy moments to connect and set everyone up for a great event.”
