When an aggregate operation needs to replace a crusher or add equipment, buying new isn’t the only option. Used and rebuilt equipment can provide another practical solution, particularly when availability, budget and project timelines are important considerations.
NorX customers have access to CrushersPlus by Mellott, which specializes in used and rebuilt crushing and screening equipment.
What Is CrushersPlus by Mellott?
CrushersPlus provides rebuilt aggregate equipment, including cone crushers, jaw crushers and other crushing and screening equipment.
For producers, this creates another option when replacing aging equipment, adding capacity or finding a machine that fits into an existing operation.
Why Consider Rebuilt Crushing Equipment?
Rebuilt equipment can offer several advantages depending on the needs of the operation.
Rather than starting with a new machine, rebuilding allows an existing crusher to be inspected and restored through the repair or replacement of worn components as needed. CrushersPlus combines this approach with Mellott’s experience servicing and rebuilding crushing equipment.
Used and rebuilt equipment may also provide additional options when new equipment availability or lead times don’t align with an operation’s schedule.
More Than Crushers
CrushersPlus also supports Mellott’s Component Exchange Program (CXP), which provides exchange components for select crusher models. This gives producers another potential option when a major crusher component requires replacement.
